The Baker Act facility has sent me a bill for services rendered, what should I do?

In this video, I want to talk to you about medical bills and the Baker Act. Lately, we’ve been getting a lot of calls from individuals who were held illegally under the Baker Act. We’ve helped some of these people get out quickly, but others are individuals who’ve been held for a significant period of time. Then, at some point, they’ve been released, and now they’re getting enormous medical bills for thousands of dollars from the facility that violated their rights. The facility may have abused them, forced them to take medication they didn’t want, and perhaps physically hurt them. They are asking me like, “Mark, what can I do?” Well, you have a right to challenge and fight the facility’s requests for payment because if you don’t, there’s a likelihood they will file a lawsuit against you.
